Ingredients

  • 3 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup macademia nuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds slivered or chopped
  • 3 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup honey (or agave)
  • 1 tsp maple extract (or vanilla extract)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Mix oats, protein powder, and cocoa in a large mixing bowl
  • Mix in nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon
  • Mix in the nuts and seeds
  • Stir in coconut oil and honey
  • Mix in maple extract
  • Lay granola on parchment evenly and press down with spatula
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Stir granola around and press down with spatula (to make clumpy granola)
  • Bake for another 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 45 minutes
  • Top with dried fruit and chocolate chips (optional)
